Challenge

The company had in its processes: difficulty in creating long-term maintenance plans, lack of information in the process, recording materials completely manually, a lot of time to create an order in SAP PM, physical space dedicated to files on paper, little accuracy in managing maintainers and difficulty in managing indicators.

There were also problems in knowing how many orders a particular piece of equipment had undergone, lack of assiduity in information, difficulty in checking whether the equipment had undergone corrections and a period of 3 to 4 days to obtain indicators of planned vs. completed orders.


Idea

Before MTC, the company only used SAP PM to plan its maintenance operations. The main obstacle found in this old solution was the impossibility of creating plans longer than 12 months and the difficulty in making these plans viable.

One of the plans they wanted to solve consisted of the fact that mechanics team 1 would be unavailable on day in SAP as it was not allowed. Therefore, they would have to recreate the plan or make a very time-consuming adjustment.

With MTC, we can easily create plans, created for more than 3 years, without limitations and with ease of management and changes by teams with the planner. The partner did not have any mobility solution for maintenance.


Earnings

Orders opened on mobile and web in an agile way, ease of recording unplanned activities, notes of materials in the system, clear and digitally archived information, precise control of the maintainer's action via Play/Pause.

Generation of evidence in a practical way, 100% offline use and a lot of flexibility. Custom-created dashboards, quick backlog survey, indicators by OSs, materials, characteristics, etc. and survey of indicators in real time.

The company already had a similar system, but needed to look for a new alternative because what they had was not flexible as noted above. The main complaint from staff was that they were unable to adjust the processes within the tool and other obstacles that ended up delaying the work too much.
